  • xanga...i must have forgotten this part of the world.  life is blessed.  my God has done it yet again.  i am so excited about being a kid.  summer is calling my name.  family vaction, the lake, the lake house, friends, summer food..oh, i just can't wait.  i have two finals left, and then home, george.  i am going to miss my girls, and people, tech...not so much.  i cannot complain though, blessings have been abundant, as well as lessons, and growing up.  life is changing, it will never be the same, but routine may be overrated.  flowers make me happy, not the kind you get as gifts, but the ones that are planted fimly in the ground.  the ones that have strong roots, the ones that provide smiles for years and years.  smiling is my favorite, as is baseball, and best-friends.  family is up there too.  had a wonderful weekend, full of family, fun, flowers, food, furniture, foul balls, and fantabulous company.  how oh how, do i get to be so blessed?  honestly, it just isn't fair.  God is amazing...thank you for everything and even more..to infinity and beyond. hope everyone has an amazing week.

  • God is amazing, in every way, in every moment...I am BLESSED!!!!  I am back at school, and more thankful than I have ever been to be here.  Some of the weeks events have caused me to step back and take a good look at my life.  I take things for granted.  How could I let every day go by without realizing just what I have.  You know, even that sounds selfish.  Nothing on this earth is permanent.  My goal should be to serve and glorify God wherever I am, and whoever I am with, and whatever I am doing.  Why do I get so caught up?  Why isn't HE at the top of my list?  Above all things I am blessed with the stability of amazing, supporting family, and my two best friends in the world.  They will probably never read this.  My family is willing to support me in everything, even if it is a burden to them.  The one friend is always there to cry to, and pray with. The other is always there to cry to and pray with and help in ways beyond imagination.  Thank you for loving me despite my shortcomings.  May I be a better friend, daughter, and sister this year.  I didn't really make any resolutions this year, but it is never to late, and that, being more loving, and considerate, and gracious, and compassionate, is going to be the chief.  I want, from the bottom of my heart, to live my life for God.  It is more than a want...a desire, a passion.  Why then is it so blessed hard?  Because I keep tripping over my own feet, I am my own stumbling block....please, God, do not let me be someone elses.  God, guide me in your path.  Break me, mold me into your will. Let me be yours.....

  • So, here I am, just sitting here on the couch in the living room at my parents' house.  This has been a blessed break.  It has been the best family time we have had in a long time.  Fished...alot....with my Dad.  Herded  cows, gave about a million injections of wormer and B-12, learned to play chess, read, remembered how to cook...lots of things.  Got to spend some very good qt with my best friend and his family.  Mostly, God has been working on my heart.  Praise be to HIM for being the same everyday.  For loving me with all HE has everyday, never anything less than HE promised.

  • Ground Rules: The first player of this "game" starts with the topic "5 weird habits of yourself" and people who get tagged need to write a Xanga entry about their 5 strange habits as well as state this rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose the next 5 people to be tagged and list their names. Dont forget to leave comments that say, " you are tagged" in their xanga and tell them to read yours.

#1: Dark chocolate is my favorite...well really any chocolate

    #2: I used to be a cheerleader.

#3: I love to cook, just not clean up after I finish

    #4: I am a nursing major.

#5: If it be God's will, I want to have 1 child and adopt 1 child
